In English - how it works

hittaut starts during the spring 2018

We have placed checkpoints all around Ale. The idea is to find the checkpoints with help of a map and/or GPS. You can use your mobile and the webmap or the physical map that you get for free.

We want more people to accept the challenge to move about and discover our breathtaking nature.

THE MAP AND CHECKPOINTS

On the map there will be in total 90 numbered checkpoints with color-codes explaining the difficulty.

  • Green = easy (accessible also with bike, pram or wheelchair)

  • Yellow = medium

  • Red = medium to difficult

  • Black = difficult

More checkpoints will be available later on in the project, called "checkpointssläpp = checkpoint release", see below for dates and which checkpoints.

Checkpoints releases

1 of may. Hittaut Ale 2018 begins and 90 checkpoints are released.

1 of june. 15 new checkpoints will be released e.g. in Skepplanda. (These checkpoints you have to mark by your self on your map)

1 of august. 15 new checkpoints will be released e.g. in Prästalund. (These checkpoints you have to mark by your self on your map)

The hitta ut "pole"

At every checkpoint there is a one meter high "hittaut"-pole.

On the pole there are Hittaut-stickers, the checkpoint-number and the code. Note the code, a letter, and register it on the homepage or in the app on your phone.
